HELP A KID HAVE HALLOWEEN FUN!

What will you be this Halloween? A ghost, or a witch? How about your favorite superhero? We all love Halloween, but unfortunately not every kid is able to afford their favorite costume and take part in the fun. Families are struggling to cover basic needs and have no money left over for the Halloween fun and fantasy that so many of us enjoyed growing up. That’s why this year, Xtreme Action Park is partnering with Neighbors 4 Neighbors in their Operation Candy Corn Halloween Costume Drive.

Bring your gently worn Halloween costumes to Xtreme Action Park from September 20 to October 20 and help a neighbor make this holiday season a little brighter.  We are looking for costumes for children from toddlers to teens. We all have costumes that we’ve grown out of so take the time to make a child smile and bring it to Xtreme Action Park in Fort Lauderdale.

Plus, as a thank you for donating your gently worn Halloween costumes, Xtreme Action Park will be giving a 1 hour Arcade Video Game Card* per family. Hurry, and donate your costume early. Free arcade cards are while supplies last only!

Happy Halloween!

THE BEST BEER IN MIAMI AT THE PIT BAR

South Florida’s own Biscayne Bay Brewery was just voted the best beer in Miami by Miami New Times – the leading independent news source in Miami, Florida. At Xtreme Action Park, we love supporting local business and Biscayne Bay Brewery makes it easy to do with their superb quality and fine tasting craft beer.

At The Pit Bar sports bar, we proudly serve Biscayne’s Double Nine IPA, La Colada porter as well as our very own Xtreme Ale which was crafted by the brewery exclusively for Xtreme Action Park.

Our Biscayne Bay Beers On Tap

Double Nine IPA

Pilsner, pale and wheat – Intense malty foundation built on Scotch malt lending caramel and honey notes. Three different hops add to the bitterness and citrus notes while a heavy dry hopping brings forth hop aromatics.

La Colada

An English style porter – Cold brewed Cuban coffee is the star here with its intense aromatics and lasting coffee finish. A mix of chocolate and roasted malts along with lactose sugars give our Porter a unique flavor profile.

Enjoy the above mentioned Biscayne Bay brews as well as many other craft and draft beers at our Full liquor Sports Bar – The Pit Bar!

Other Craft Beers in our line up include:

Goose 312

Inspired by the city of Chicago and densely populated with flavor, 312’s spicy aroma of Cascade hops is followed by a crisp, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body that’s immensely refreshing

Sierra Nevada Tropical Torpedo

Inspired by island life, we created an IPA completely disconnected from the mainland. We used our one-of-a-kind Hop Torpedo to deliver an intense rush of hop flavor and the lush aromas of mango, papaya, and passionfruit with every sip. Enjoy our tropical twist on the American IPA.

Abita Purple Haze

Purple Haze is a crisp, American style wheat beer with raspberry puree added after filtration. Therefore, you may see raspberry pulp in the beer. The raspberries provide the lager with a subtle purple coloration and haze, a fruity aroma, and a tartly sweet taste.

Victory Golden Monkey

A magical, mystical Monkey whose golden sole glows with the wisdom of the ages. This radiant ale is rich in the spirited tradition of Belgian-inspired brewing. Our Golden Monkey is both playfully delightful and profoundly satisfying. Exotic spice from the East rounds out this global journey to joy. Get on board. This Monkey’s bound for glory!

26° IPA1A

Brewed in Pompano Beach, FL Jump in and take a hop-fueled ride down highway IPA1A. Inspired by the refreshing breeze and scenic surroundings of South Florida’s most iconic beachside highway, this IPA is the perfect way to end any road trip. From the citrus aroma and floral bouquet to the dry, yet surprisingly quenching zest of hops, IPA1A finishes with a subtle citrus flavor and an understated malty backbone.

A New Racing Challenge

South Florida’s Longest and Fastest Indoor Go Kart Track is getting a makeover! While we’ve all grown attached to our go-kart track, we promise, change is good. The Xtreme Pit Crew has been working tirelessly to bring you an exciting all-new, ultra-fresh, layout design for you to sink your tires into. The all new go-kart track features not one but TWO layouts:

Standard Track with thrilling new turns, chicanes, and shorter straights, this new layout incorporates a reinforced barrier and is well supported for all drivers.

Fast Track with more of an oval shape and fewer turns for easier handling for younger drivers or cadet karts. AND for those with a need for speed, the track is adaptable to accommodate even more straightaways – perfect for our soon to arrive brand new Super Kart fleet.

Now, all we need to do is set the new track time!  And a new qualifying time for our Super Kart fleet. Will you be the one to set it?  Come to the track now and see be the first to try out the all new race track.

What are the Benefits of Updating the Track?

•          Tweaking previous design elements to allow for increased speeds at the highest possible safety levels.
•         Updating worn out track walls and dividers to newer tech and builds.
•          Keep things fresh, exciting, and new!
•          Challenging our members to see who can set the best time, every time.

MADE FOR RACE LOVERS

Xtreme Action Park hosts South Florida’s Longest and Fastest Indoor Go Kart Track! We offer a “real” racing experience with European gas powered karts that can reach speeds up to 45MPH!  And we offer the ONLY indoor asphalt track in town to provide superior grip and handling. Grip equals speed… sliding is slow.  Plus we have the longest track too, consuming 50,000 square feet of track space! Don’t wait any longer, come see the difference today!

Laps vs. Timed Race Sessions

All too often it has been questioned which is better: Laps vs. Timed Race Sessions. Here are some tips to help you decide:

Track Length: If the track is a half mile long, like ours, you can expect it to take an average of 35 seconds to complete one lap. A shorter track may only take 20-25 seconds to complete a lap. Track length and lap times will help you determine if you are really getting enough seat time for your spend.

Lap Races: A great option for a race experience. When you participate in a lap race, you are competing with other drivers. If someone is faster or a more experienced driver, then you can only complete the amount of laps allowed until the fastest driver reaches the finish line and the race ends. So if you only drive 8 laps in the amount of time it takes someone else to drive 10 – you don’t get to continue driving. The race ends and so do you.

Timed Race Sessions: Race the clock for your Fastest Lap Time! Timed race sessions are a great choice to work on your race technique and practice. In this heat, or group, all drivers are racing the clock to reach or exceed their fastest lap time. Here you can truly hone in the race line, work on maneuvering around other karts and feel the thrill of racing but at your own pace. When the time’s up – your race ends. You can then see your results and determine your best laps and tips for faster race next time in.

Comparison Guide of Laps vs. Timed Race Sessions at Xtreme Action Park:

*Based on average lap time of 40-50 seconds for Cadet Karts, 35-45 seconds for Pro Karts and 28-33 seconds for Super Karts. Lap counts listed are for example purposes only – not guaranteed.

At Xtreme Action Park, we offer both Time Race Sessions and Lap Races. We recommend for first time and recreational racing to participate in our Arrive and Drive Timed Races. However, Lap Races will give you the closest “real” racing experience and our formats are second to none! We offer qualifying laps in conjunction with a grid line up and green flag start. Just you and your group on the track… then it is truly a competition race to the checkered flag for the finish!
